The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced a job opportunity for the year 2023. They are looking to hire 450 Assistant positions, and you can apply for these jobs on their official website, Opportunities.rbi.org.in, until October 4th. Age Requirements:

To apply, you should be at least 20 years old but not older than 28 as of September 1st. So, if your birthdate falls between September 2, 1995, and September 1, 2003, you’re eligible to apply. There are age relaxations available for candidates in reserved categories.

Eligibility:

Who can apply? Well, Indian citizens, people from Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, can apply. Also, folks of Indian origin who moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and some East African countries with the intent to stay permanently can apply. However, they’ll need eligibility certificates from the Indian government.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any subject.
• Ensure your bachelor’s degree is completed by September 1, 2023.
• If you fall under the SC, ST, or PwBD categories, there’s no minimum marks requirement, but a bachelor’s degree is necessary.
• Ex-servicemen must have a graduate degree or equivalent qualification, or matriculation with a minimum of 15 years of defense service.
• For specific recruitment offices, proficiency in the state’s language is required. This includes the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language.

Selection Process:

To become an RBI Assistant, you’ll go through a three-step process: a preliminary exam, a main exam, and a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The preliminary exam is scheduled for October 21 and 23, and the main exam is expected to be held on December 2.

When it comes to the application fee:

For SC/ST/PwBD/EXS candidates, it’s ₹50 + 18% GST.

For General/OBC/EWS candidates, it’s ₹450 + 18% GST.
